 CORPORATION:
Aldersgate Homes was incorporated in January 1976 under the direction
of a Board of Directors who had the original dream to develop a
seniors campus with a continuum of housing and services for seniors
where area seniors could age in comfort and dignity. The founding
Board of Directors were representatives of the Free Methodist, Standard
and Wesleyan Churches who raised funds with a mission to provide
safe and affordable housing for seniors. By December 1982, construction
was completed on Aldersgate Homes, the first building of 47 rental
apartments. With full occupancy and a healthy waiting list, Phase
II began in 1991 with an additional 41 rental apartments, funded
by the provincial government. Aldersgate Homes Inc. have been serving
the needs of area seniors socially, spiritually and physically for
over 20 years.

Aldersgate Village is ideally located in the west end of Belleville,
nestled in a serene country setting with spectacular sunset views.
