HAIRDRESSING AND BARBER SERVICES Hairdressing and Barber services, as well as many other personal beauty treatments such as manicures, foot care, and massages are available at "Sharon's Place" the Hair Salon located on the second floor in Aldersgate Apartments. Appointments can be made by calling Sharon at 962-8914 or by visiting the Salon. CATERED LUNCH PROGRAM Come join us every Wednesday during the school year for skillfully prepared, hot noon meals provided by the William R. Kirk School students in the restaurant trades class. You can make a reservation by calling the Aldersgate office at 962-1192. Meals are served in the Courtyard Café located in the Apartment complex. You can expect to be treated to the best at a price you can't refuse. Meals include your main entrée, juice, tea/coffee and dessert for only $4.50! Also available, by special order are a variety of marvelous, home-cooked frozen meals for only $3.50 each. SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS Programming may be organized through your Residents' Association or you may wish to join in on the many activities offered at Aldersgate Apartments. These programs include: Wednesday morning Chapel services, exercise programs, afternoon teas twice weekly, monthly potluck dinners, concerts, health information sessions, recreational events, games nights and bus trips. EXTRA MAINTENANCE/HANDYMAN ASSISTANCE If you require assistance for various odd jobs such as installation of shelving, assistance with the installation of fixtures or extra curtain rods, etc. We can arrange with our custodial staff for this type of extra work at a reasonable cost or suggest appropriate tradesmen. PERSONAL CARE / HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES Residents may wish to take advantage of the "Share Care" Program with the local C.C.A.C. available at Aldersgate Apartments. Personal care services are provided through this program and can be arranged by contacting the office. If you require housekeeping services we can assist in arranging for these types of services from local agencies at affordable rates.
